The Principal (Ag) and staff of NGHS join the Presbyterian community in mourning the death of Ms. Fairy Lalla.
Ms. Lalla served as Vice Principal for 9 years from the period 2002-2011. She was both a gentlewoman and gentle woman. She possessed a caring and nurturing spirit and always looked out for and encouraged her students. One past student shared that it was Ms. Lalla who called her personally when she realized that she had not registered for 6th form. She added that Ms. Lalla encouraged her by telling her that there was a place for her and that she was more than capable of achieving success at that level. We are sure that many others will testify to that spirit of encouragement that was very generously shared with the students over her many years at N.G.H.S. This kindness was extended to members of staff as well.
We all were blessed by her beautiful smile and words of advice. Her faith in God was another aspect of her character that she was never shy to share. It is that faith that gives us the assurance that she is resting safe within the arms of her heavenly father. May she rest peacefully, and may her family and loved ones draw strength in that faith that they all profess.
