Samiya Karim and Danaë Mootoosingh recently competed in the Trinidad and Tobago Carebaco Juniors 2023 Badminton tournament at the National Racquet Center in Tacarigua.
They participated in the Under 15 Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles and the Under 19 Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles events, respectively.
Samiya placed 1st in the Girls Under 15 Doubles and 2nd in the Girls Under 15 Singles while Danaë placed 3rd in the Girls Under 19 Doubles.
