Over the course of the first two weekends of October, Naparima Girls’ High School was represented by a ten member team at the Scotiabank Schools’ Table Tennis Competition which was held at the National Racket Centre, Tacarigua.
Mikah Stroude and Priyanka Khellawan were victorious in capturing the Under 19 Girls’ Team and Doubles titles. Mikah Stroude also earned bronze in the Girls’ Singles and Priyanka Khellawan, gold, in the same event.
Sydney Payne, Samara Badree and Leniece Williamson participated in the Girls’ Under 13 singles category, Soniya Ramdath and Hana Asgarali – the Girls’ Under 15 and Mikah Stroude, Nishka Basdeo, Ashley Ramdass and Priyanka Khellawan – the Girls’ Under 19.
