Caitlyn Look Fong swims her way to the top!

Caitlyn Look Fong has been swimming since the age of seven. She began swimming competitively at the age of nine, which gave her the opportunity to now enter competitions at a national level. Since then she has entered numerous competitions at that level. Caitlyn participates in all strokes of the sport with an emphasis on the Butterfly.

It is with this stroke she qualified to represent Trinidad and Tobago in 2018 at both the Carifta Swimming Championships and the Central American And Caribbean Amateur Swimming Championships (CCCAN) which were held in Jamaica and Aruba respectively.

She was successful at both games medaling in the Carifta Swimming Championship with an Individual medal at 3rd Place in the 200M Butterfly. She was also part of the relay team for the 4x100M Medley Relay, where she swam the 100M Butterfly in the 3rd leg with the team placing 1st and gaining a Gold Medal.

Similarly, at the Central American And Caribbean Amateur Swimming Championships, commonly known as CCCAN, she was capable of taking the Individual 3rd Place medal in the 100M Butterfly. She again swam with her team mates in the 4x100M Medley Relay, swimming the 100M Butterfly in the 3rd leg, with the team successfully bringing home a 1st placed Gold medal.

In 2017 Caitlyn also represented her country at the Goodwill Swimming Championships held in Guyana. There she medaled in the 100 Butterfly (Gold), 200M Individual Medley (Silver), the 100M Backstroke (Bronze) and was part of the relay team, medaling in the 200M Freestyle Relay (Gold) and the 400M Medley Relay (Bronze).
