On Tuesday 20th February, 2024, WASA’s Adopt a River Programme presented the challenge trophy to our school for placing 1st and 2nd in the Riverspeak 4 Spoken Word competition held in September 2023. The theme for the competition was “People’s Solutions to Plastic Pollution.”
The winning team comprised Siri Vadlamudi and Kaelyn Dipchand and their piece was entitled, “The River’s Woe.” In second place was “Protect Our Rivers, Protect Our Future,” by Jaeda Ar-Razi, Samantha Acosta and Maikhailanne Dyer.
