Naparima Girls’ High School extends condolences to the Lee Wah family on the passing of Mrs. Mavis Lee Wah.
She served Naparima Girls’ High School as a teacher, Vice-Principal, and then Principal (1984-1986). Mrs. Lee Wah is fondly remembered by all with whom she interacted as a warm, compassionate, kind, soft-spoken, gracious and beautiful woman who worked passionately and conscientiously to promote her love for the Performing Arts.
Mrs. Lee Wah maintained close ties with the Naparima Girls’ High School community even after her retirement. She was actively involved in directing plays for the Secondary Schools’ Drama Festival as well as Naparima Girls’ High School’s production of many musicals including South Pacific and My Fair Lady.
In memory of Mrs. Mavis Lee Wah, there will be services in tribute to her life and work on Monday 25th June 2018 at Arunodai Presbyterian Church (Balmain Presbyterian Church) at 6 pm and Wednesday 27th June 2018 at Naparima Girls’ High School at 6 pm. Funeral Service to be held at the Susamachar Presbyterian Church, Carib
Street, San Fernando on Saturday 30th June 2018 at 2 pm.
