On Tuesday 27th February, 2018, three students, Sashi Dookeran, Sesha Dookeran and Zoe Webb, of the Eco-Activist club accompanied by their patron teacher Mrs. Sarsha Lall-Soobratee, visited the Office of the President to meet His Excellency Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona ORTT, SC President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago for the launch of the Plastic Bag Reduction Campaign. It was there, along with their Excellencies, that they were allowed to plant a Moringa tree, a tree which CO2 intake is 20 times higher than other types of commonly – found trees.
