On Wednesday 8th November 2017 our girls made us proud as they represented NGHS at the finals of the Trinidad and Tobago Secondary Schools Badminton Association National Inter-Zonal Championships held at the National Racquet Center in Tacarigua.
Our girls did not disappoint as Danae Mootoosingh and Puja Chendilkumar won the U15 Doubles Champion trophy and the District Doubles Champion medals. Alyssa Ramdath and Sanchia Sylvester paired up to take the U21 Doubles Champion Trophy and District medals. Danae and Alyssa also brought home the U15 and U21 Singles Champion trophies and District medals respectively. As part of the Victoria District, our girls contributed to winning the District Challenge Trophy.
Their awards were presented at morning worship so that they can be congratulated by the entire school.
