NGHS played Barrackpore East Secondary (BESS) in the finals of the SSCL South Zone Girls’ Open Division on Wednesday 15th March, 2017
BESS won the toss and went into bat. In their 20 overs they scored 153 for 5 wickets.
In the NGHS innings we scored 134 in 20 overs.
Despite placing second to Barrackpore, our girls gave a tremendous performance. The NGHS team displayed excellent fielding and bowling skills.
We, the cricket team, wish to say thank you to our coach Mr. Ben Santoo for his commitment despite coming on board during the latter part of the season. Thank you sir and we look forward to your continued work as we prepare the Under 16 girls.
