The NGHS Cricket team has won their second match in the girls open competition of the South Zone of the Secondary Schools’ Cricket League.
The team faced St. Joseph Convent, San Fernando in today’s match. NGHS batting first in 20 overs scored 154 for 7. The top scorer for NGHS was Ariana Moosay with 45 runs. St. Joseph Convent replied with 60 all out in 16.2 overs. Samantha Khan took 6 wickets for 8 of 3 overs. Shantelle Jahoor took 3 wickets for 3 runs of 1-2 overs.
Last week, the cricket team played and won their match against San Fernando Central Secondary. SFCS went in to bat first and after 16 overs were 42 all out. In reply, NGHS scored 44 for no wickets in 5.3 overs.
