On the Saturday 28th of February 2026, students of the Naparima Girls’ High School Indian Cultural Club, accompanied by patron teacher, Ms. Vishalli Tancoo, participated in the Secondary Schools Sanskritik Sangam’s 47th Annual Convention held at the NCIC Divali Nagar in Chaguanas.
The convention was designed to provide students from Forms 1 to 6 with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of the rich traditions and diverse aspects of East Indian culture. Through participation in a range of individual and group categories, students were able to showcase their talents, develop important interpersonal and performance skills, and strengthen their self-esteem and confidence. The event also fostered cultural awareness, discipline, and a spirit of healthy competition among participants. Congratulations are extended to all students who participated and to those who earned awards in their respective categories for their outstanding performances and dedication.
