On Saturday 23rd November, 2019, a team of nineteen N.G.H.S. students proudly represented their school at the South Zone Cheerleading Championships. After many weeks of rigorous training, under the stewardship of team captain Ra’eesah Ali and vice-captain Ashara Satahoo, the N.G.H.S. team emerged as South Zone Champions!
Special thanks must be given to the coach of the team, Ms. Koya Barrimond, whose hard work and commitment was the driving force behind the success of this team. Heartfelt appreciation also to the patron teacher, Mrs. Sawyer, whose enthusiasm and support has motivated the members from the inception of the cheerleading club. Thank you also to the dedicated parents of the team members.
