The Scotiabank Schools Table Tennis Tournament took place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November, 2019. Naparima Girls’ High School was represented in four categories and emerged victorious in all.

Teams
Under 15 Girls Teams – 1st place: Priyanka Khellawan and Mikah Stroude (Form Three)
Open Girls Teams – 1st place: Shreya Maharaj and Sydney Ramtahal (Lower Six)
Doubles
Under 15 Girls Doubles – 1st place: Priyanka Khellawan and Mikah Stroude
Open Girls Doubles – 1st place: Shreya Maharaj and Sydney Ramtahal
Our teams overcame competitors from other top secondary schools such as Lakshmi Girls’ Hindu College, St. Augustine Girls’ High School, St. Joseph’s Convent Port of Spain and Bishop Anstey High School.
UPDATE:
The tournament continued on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November, 2019 with the Singles categories.
NGHS was represented in the Under 15 Girls Singles and Open Girls Singles categories and emerged victorious in both categories.

In the overall competition, NGHS emerged victorious in all 6 categories entered, winning a total of 8 medals – 6 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze.
